Sonia Wise’s practice focuses on Immigration, Criminal Defense and Education Law.
She brings her passion for helping uphold individual rights to her practice, provider her clients with knowledgeable and enthusiastic advocate.
Sonia Wise is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University (B.S.), Delaware Valley Collage (M.B.A.) and Widener Law Commonwealth (J.D.). Prior to joining Ream, Carr, Markey, Woloshin & Hunter LLP., she was an assistant Public Defender and a member of the United States Army Non-commissioned officer corps. While at the Public Defender’s office, Attorney Wise served as the defense attorney for the Drug Wellness Courts, Mental Health Court, and Veterans’ Wellness Court. Attorney Wise has litigated many issues ranging from illegal searches and seizures in weapons and drug cases to illegal sentences.
Sonia has assisted with Third Circuit immigration appeals during her internship with the Shagin Law Group. She is a member of the York County Bar Association, where she is an active member of the Young Lawyer’s Division, the Federal Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (PACDL).
