Steven M. Carr, Esq. is an experienced and caring attorney, having been practicing law in York County for over thirty years. He focuses his practice in a variety of areas, including bankruptcy and real estate.
Steve has served as a Panel Trustee for the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Middle District of Pennsylvania since 1991 and provides representation to both debtors and creditors in collection and bankruptcy matters. He also practices in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, business law, and decedent’s estates.
Attorney Carr also serves as one of five Child Custody Conciliators for the York County Court of Common Pleas.Steve is a graduate of York Catholic High School, LaSalle University and the Dickinson School of Law. Attorney Carr has been a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy matters for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute as well as the National Business Institute. He has made several appearances on the York County Bar Association’s “Legal Lines.” Steve’s parents were born and raised in York County, and Steve has spent most of his life as a resident of York County.
Attorney Carr has been an active member of the community, serving as a member of the Board of Directors of York Catholic High School as well as the Development Committee of York Catholic High School; and also having been Past Board Member, American Heart Association; Past Board Member, Family Child Resources; Past President, York Catholic Alumni Association, Past Member, Saint Joseph’s York School Board; Past Member, Saint Joseph’s York Finance Committee; Past Commissioner, York CYO Baseball.
Mr. Carr is a Member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees and the Middle District Bankruptcy Bar Association. He is a member of the York County Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association.
